"(The Goring Society)
Dear Sir/Madam,
Through recent years I have been delighted to join The Goring Society, a small group which meets annually to choose a 'roster' of horses for the coming flat season, and following which a friendly auction takes place of the various lists.
As a result of my good fortune in purchasing this year's winning list, I am delighted to make this donation in support of your valuable and ongoing work supporting the sport that we all love so dearly.
Without the help that you give to those who encounter challenging times as a result of their participation in the sport of kings I am quite sure that their world would be a darker place.
Yours faithfully,
Ed Gascoigne"

"Our family donation comes to the Injured Jockeys in memory of George A Greaves from donations made at his recent funeral. A supporter of this charity, he had a life long interest in horse racing and in early retirement bred and owned his own race horses enjoying travelling the country to watch them race. The sport gave him much pleasure and an interest outside the dedication to his family and a lifetime farming."
